Assignments: Structures problems, creates problem solving frameworks and approaches, constructs assignments, and designs techniques to build findings and analysis. Defines the structure and research requirements as well as the tools to support the research. Establishes a significant, high visibility presence with the client organization and key external audiences. Active involvement in key knowledge-building activities on projects interviews, modeling, research, etc. Authors key documents presentations to clients, final reports, etc. at a high level of excellence, helping clients to gain insights and to translate project recommendations into action.

Qualifications: Candidates must be located in the Chicago area and should have a Masters degree in economics, business, or another discipline with a strong analytic orientation, and 8-12 years of professional experience in a consulting firm or in management positions. Expertise with Microsoft Office, strength in writing and report preparation, and good interpersonal skills are essential. Has strong project management skills and significant subject matter expertise in areas relevant to Blue Canyon and its clients.

Contributions: Develops insights relevant to the challenges posed by our clients, helps to communicate the findings, and makes preliminary recommendations to the team. Identifies how clients can translate project learning into action plans. Actively and regularly contributes to Blue Canyon’s intellectual capital. Participates in research projects on key themes and topics, oriented towards publication and visibility to clients and prospects. Helps to advance existing methodology and develop additional tools, documentation, training programs, and other contributions to the use of our methodology within Blue Canyon.
