Assignments: Identifies and delivers contributions to clients via the leadership of project engagements. Manages all aspects of the project, from a blank page to the final report and recommendations on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. Helps to correctly define the issues, defines an approach to resolve the client’s issues to strong satisfaction levels, and creates an environment in which the client is able to accept the conclusions and implement action plans. Ensures that the project team resources are used effectively and efficiently. The project manager has the lead relationship with the client project sponsor. Is perceived to be a subject matter expert and strong advice-giver on the themes on which the project is focused.

Qualifications: Candidates must be located in the Chicago area and should have a Masters degree in economics, business, or another discipline with a strong analytic orientation, and 15-20 years of professional experience in a consulting firm or in general management positions. Has strong client relationship management and project management skills and significant subject matter expertise in areas relevant to Blue Canyon and its clients.

Contributions: Delivers value to clients, ensuring their ability to understand the appropriate responses to their questions and their ability to translate strategy into action plans. Actively and regularly contributes to the development of Blue Canyon’s intellectual capital, methodology, staff competency, and market presence. Participates in new research, authors or contributes to publications, and makes presentations to professional groups. Assumes leadership of internal efforts involving training, infrastructure, or other key initiatives.
